I was nine years old when I felt the call to surrender my life to Jesus. Since then, God has been working in the background of my life, ordering my footsteps as I trusted the process and His timing. In 2019, I sensed God calling my wife and I into a pastoral role, but not knowing how that would come to pass. And before we knew it, after much prayer, my family found ourselves pastoring the best church, Abundant Life Center.

Being born and raised in Brighton, there are many moments in my life that have unfolded here—the joyful ones and the painful ones—moments that have shaped my faith. I’m grateful God has rooted our lives here so we can serve this city for its good and His glory.

​

And I imagine you might feel something similar deep down. You want to become someone you’re proud of. You want a marriage and a family marked by health and fulfillment, not hurt passed down from one generation to the next. You want friendships that are real and a life that truly matters in the community you call home. But if you’re like most of us, you’ve probably wondered whether you’re actually on the right path—or how to even begin. Many of us are simply guessing and hoping. I don’t believe it has to stay that way.

I believe the God who created you loves you deeply. I believe He has made a way for you to become the person you were meant to be and to live the life you were created for. 

​

There are people who have prayed for you, your family, and our community because they—like me—have been transformed by Jesus and want you to encounter Him too. Whether you’ve never trusted Jesus before or you’ve called yourself a Christian for years, we believe there is more available to you in Him.

​

So, we want to invite you to take a step with us. Some things can only be understood by experiencing them. What if the love and grace of God are truly available to you right now? What if the life Jesus describes can actually be lived? What if the kind of community we read about in the early Church can be revived in our time? What if it could happen here—with you, with me, and with our city?
